Montana Angler: May 16 Spring Creeks Fishing Report

The spring creeks always fish great in May and DePuy's even has heated cabins to warm your cold hands on a foul weather day! Water temps are warmer in
the spring creeks relative to the larger rivers and fish feed during larger periods of the day. Water temps are favorable and the fish are now very active. The
rainbows from the Yellowstone are finished spawning, but many are still in the creeks. The Mother's Day Caddis are now in DePuys along with great baetis
hatches. Milesnicks will be opening on May 21st and their creeks always fish well early in the year. McCoy spring creeks are a also great option in May and
they still have a few rods open at this time of year before being booked solid in June and July.
