| 🚨 UPCOMING EVENT 🚨 Here’s an opportunity to spread the word about TU and Trout Fishing in Iowa! Join TU North Bear this coming Monday, October 26th from 11:30 am – 2 pm at Triumph Park In Waukee for “Trick or Trout”!  The Iowa DNR will stock the pond with over 1,000 trout, and TUNB will be there to share information about TU, TUNB and our work, and teach fundamentals of fly casting! Also, we are seeking volunteers to help provide information at our table and show some fly-casting fundamentals. If you’re interested and willing to help please email Jay Leach (jjleach27@gmail.com) or Dave Klemme (klemme4isu@msn.com), or simply show up around 11:30 at Triumph Park and look for the TU North Bear table. |

When you take part in Trout Unlimited North Bear Chapter activities, you are helping drive conservation of IOWA’s rivers and streams. The same rivers that sustain trout, bring clean water into our homes, give life to vibrant communities, and feed a passion for the outdoors.
Our rivers and our fisheries face enormous challenges. At Trout Unlimited, we are doing something about it.
Working together as volunteers and with TU staff and partners in our Priority Waters, we advocate for our rivers, restore our stream habitat, plant native trees, help connect kids to the outdoors and so much more.
We are a community of optimists who have a ton of fun along the way. Whether you are passionate about wild and native fish, inspired by the wonder of our rivers, or dedicated to clean water, we invite you to be a part of our mission.
