By now some of you have noticed a new name popping up here on the blog, Samantha Carmichael. I wanted to introduce myself as the new Assistant Editor. Hannah Moulton-Belec has moved on to another publication. I come to Trout after spending almost two years as a copy editor in Hopewell, Va. Prior to that I was a student at Penn State University earning my bachelor's in Journalism. My hometown is in northwestern Pennsylvania. I grew up fishing and hunting in the Allegheny National Forest.
