Best Wild Places
If you're a Field and Stream magazine reader, and you visit the publication's website, you've probably noticed a very strong TU presence there. That's because TU has partnered with Field and Stream on the Best Wild Places project. Together, we've identified six landscapes in the West that offer excellent hunting and fishing opportunities, but face various threats in the form of development, oil and gas extraction, off-road vehicle abuse, etc. Then, we went and visited these places with Field and Stream writers and photographers. The online content has been growing all summer, but the grand finale, if you will, will occur in mid-November when the December-January double issue hits newsstands. There, you'll find a full dozen pages of Best Wild Places content, with TU front and center. For now, go visit Field and Stream's online section. When the magazine hits the racks in a couple weeks, make sure you grab your copy and save it. Hopefully, it's the first of several Best Wild Places projects TU and Field and Stream join together to complete.
